Sons of an Illustrious Father
"I'm living in a world that makes too much sense to me."
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of catching Sons of an Illustrious Father live here in Toronto at a small bar known as The Baby G. The trio is comprised of Josh Aubin, Lilah Larson and Ezra Miller and all of them are extremely talented. I had known of Ezra through his various characters on film (Perks of Being a Wallflower, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the upcoming Justice League film to name a few), but I had no idea that he was in a band with two of his close friends and that they all live and create music together in New York. I was astonished to see that all throughout the show, all three bandmates would rotate instruments without a hitch. Their music is just raw and full of emotion and I'm glad I was able to capture them on camera.
After the show I got the chance to hang around and meet all three members of the band. They were all humble and down to earth. In the pictures below you can see a friend that was with us had challenged all three of them to a thumb war match and all three had taken up the challenge and prevailed.
You can find out more about Sons of an Illustrious Father on their website and I definitely recommend putting on a pair of headphones and giving their record a listen.
